Personality: Although she may look like a cheerful ray of sunshine, many folks are surprised to find that Aisling is anything but. Hovering somewhere between irritable and apathetic, she has very little patience for very many things. Chances are, whatever your issue is, she either doesn't have the desire to care, or given that, she may not have the energy. That never seems to stop the sarcasm though, and she finds boundless entertainment in seeing people react to her blunt observations. If you don't like it, chances are she doesn't much care unless you're a customer.

History: Aisling grew up in the usual sort of way. The drowzee was born to a lovely Hypno couple, in Lavender Town, and found herself very well accepted into her family. All thirteen of them. Two parents, 6 sisters, and four brothers all older than she was. To say that she struggled for attention would be redundant, and despite fostering a healthy enough relationship with her siblings, Aisling often times felt alone when she was very young. The girl steadily withdrew interaction from others, save for rare instances where her most noticeable trait shone out brightly among the rest. Aisling had the gift for being bluntly and brutally honest on a level rivaling even embittered adults. Her sharp tongue quickly became the defining feature that distinguished her among her siblings, giving her a much needed identity in a sea of similar faces.

Once she got older, Aisling began assisting in the family business. After all, Drowzee and Hypno are well known for consuming and manipulating the dreams of others, so it only made sense to capitalize on it. Taken under apprenticeship, Aisling honed her skills over the years until she was old enough to work in one of the family stores. However, having honed her skills with her family's particular brand of services, her tongue had only gotten sharper over time and alienated more than a few siblings. Fortunately, she found her niche beneath the wing of one of her older brothers, Maurice.

For a few months everything went fine. Maurice tended the shady patrons of his nocturnal establishment, and Aisling tended the stock, learning about the medicinal herbs her brother specialized in. Some of these were less than reputable, but served their purpose well enough. After all, what did Aisling care if their customers chose to lace their slumber with illicit pharmaceuticals? That wasn't her problem. At least, not until the police made it that way. Maurice's business collapsed in one fell swoop as police raided the stock, finding copious amounts of stolen prescriptions and Aisling unwittingly among them. Maurice now wanted, and Aisling his supposed accomplice, the pair were forced to unleash their hypnotic powers and skip town as the authorities dozed in the wreckage of their livelihood. The two put as much distance as they could between themselves and Lavender Town, until they were well beyond their pursuers. The respite wouldn't last long, as there had already been a warrant issued for the arrest of the hypno and questioning of his younger sibling.

Realizing they wouldn't stop until they had found one or the other, Maurice suggested that it may be in her best interest to take what money they had gained together and seek her fortune somewhere else. It was, after all, enough to open a small shop somewhere far away, so it wouldn't be likely she would be found for questioning. Aisling agreed and bid her brother farewell, striking off to seek her place in the world.

-Aisling suffers from chronic insomnia. The dark circles under her eyes and her pale skin are evidence that she can most often be found awake when every sane person has already long since gone to sleep.

-As a result of her insomnia, Aisling has become a connoisseur of coffee. From arabica to Kopi Luwak, Aisling can tell you just from the smell and color what you're serving up.

-Aisling takes her coffee like she does her humor, black, bitter, and acidic.

-Sometimes, on rare occasions, when the moon is full and the stars are aligned and she actually LIKES someone – she may offer special services not normally given through her store.
